City Hours and Service Schedules for Canada Day

City Hall, Rothesay Avenue and Adelaide Street offices will be closed on Monday, July 3.

Saint John City Market: Open on Saturday, July 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will reopen for regular business hours on Monday, July 3.

Saint John Transit: No service on Saturday, July 1. Transit will resume its regular hours on Sunday, July 2.

Garbage and compost collection: No changes to solid waste or recycling collection.

Please note: When Canada Day falls on a weekend, celebrations remain, as always, on July 1 but the statutory holiday this year will be recognized on the following Monday, July 3, 2023.
