City of Saint John 2023 Civic Recognition Award recipients recognized

The City of Saint John held its annual Civic Recognition Awards on Monday night, acknowledging the outstanding contributions and achievements by residents, businesses and organizations who make a substantial impact on our city in 2023.  

Mayor Donna Noade Reardon presented commemorative certificates to one organization, one business and seven individuals to thank them for their outstanding work in our community.

“I am humbled by this year’s Civic Recognition Award recipients. Their remarkable commitment to community has positively impacted the lives of so many in our city,” says Mayor Donna Noade Reardon. “These awards allow us the opportunity to celebrate and thank each of these exceptional organizations, businesses and individuals for their contributions to the betterment of the City of Saint John.”

2023 award recipients:  

Cooke Aquaculture Inc. – Citizen of the year  

Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception – Citizen of the year  

Julie Dingwell – Council Commendation  

Amy Enman – Council Commendation 

Johanne and Ivan McCullough - Council Commendation  

Melanie Vautour - Council Commendation 

Wesley Williams Maestro Fresh Wes- Council Commendation 

Trevor Holder – Mayor’s Certificate
