City of Saint John grant programs: schedule update

The City of Saint John wishes to advise that an update on the following grant programs is scheduled to be provided in a report to Common Council on December 14, 2020:

• Community Grants
• Community Arts Funding
• Urban Development Incentive
• Beautification Grants
• Heritage Grants

The report will clarify expectations for 2020 recipients, guidance for applicants in the process of receiving a grant, as well as the City’s plans for 2021.

Of note to applicants, the Community Grants Program Committee has scheduled its traditional December launch of its application process to January 2021. The deadline to submit final application forms for the 2020 Heritage and Beautification Grants was November 30; however, in lieu of online submissions, the City will continue to accept paper copy forms for these grants until Friday, December 11.
