King's Square Public Information Session

City of Saint John invites public to information session on King’s Square improvement project

The City of Saint John is pleased to announce the launch of a conceptual design project aimed at enhancing the pathways and surrounding features of historic King’s Square. This initiative reflects the City’s ongoing commitment to improving public spaces and infrastructure for the benefit of all residents and visitors.

The proposed improvements include upgrades to pathways, lighting, furniture, and landscaping—designed to revitalize the area while preserving its charm and heritage. The goal of the project is to develop a recommended concept plan complete with budget estimates, which will guide future detailed design and construction phases.

To ensure community input is part of the process, the City will host a public information session where residents can learn more about the project, ask questions, and share feedback. Representatives from the City and the project’s design team will be on hand to engage with attendees.

Public Information Session:
Date: Tuesday, August 12, 2025
Location: Imperial Theatre Lobby, 12 King Square South
Time: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Community participation is a vital part of shaping the future of King’s Square, and all are encouraged to attend.
