City of Saint John seeking input from residents on municipal budget

The City of Saint John is inviting residents to help shape the next municipal budget. A public engagement page, Shape Your Budget, has been launched on the Shape Your City Saint John platform, allowing residents to better inform City staff and Common Council on what spending priorities are most important to them.

As preparations begin to build the operating budgets for 2026, the City wants to know what level of funding residents think should be directed to maintain, increase, or decrease service levels within the City of Saint John. This important feedback will provide valuable input and help inform the budget.

The Shape Your Budget survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete and the deadline for submissions is June 20, 2025.

The results of this survey will be posted in the fall.
