City seeking members for new Civic Commemoration Committee

Are you a resident of Saint John with knowledge, experience, and professional skills pertaining to diversity and community inclusion? The City encourages you to apply to be on the Civic Commemoration Committee.

The newly established Civic Commemoration Committee will help to guide and advise Common Council through the naming of public streets, assets, and spaces, and the placement of commemorative monuments and plaques on City properties.

Appointees to the committee will be selected on the basis of their potential to contribute to the mandate, roles, and responsibilities of the committee, including skills, experience and qualities reflecting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Anyone interested in serving on the Civic Commemoration Committee is encouraged to submit an application in confidence on-line at the City’s website here.

The deadline for applications is March 22, 2022.
