Dominion Park Beach - Flooding

Dominion Park Beach partially closed while crews work to restore damage caused by heavy rain

For public safety reasons and to mitigate any further damage, the City has temporarily closed sections of Dominion Park Beach while crews work to repair ruts in the sand caused by last night’s heavy rainfall.

The repairs are expected to be completed by the weekend, July 17. Barricades are in place to notify visitors of the closure. Until the work is completed, the public is asked to avoid the closed areas.

Some sections of the beach remain open with lifeguard supervision (10:45 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.).
