Flash Ice Sale — Book Your Discounted Ice Time!

The City of Saint John is thrilled to launch our Flash Ice Sale, offering surplus ice rental slots from December 24 to January 20 at special discounted rates.

Fresh ice time has just been released and history shows that more than half of the slots are snapped up quickly. Whether you’re planning a birthday party, family gathering, corporate event, or extra practice for your team, now is the time to secure your spot before they’re gone!

Flash Ice Hourly Rates (plus HST)

• Youth Not-for-Profit Groups: $80.89
• Adult Not-for-Profit Groups: $141.57
• For-Profit/Commercial Events: $183.85 Note: Tournaments and fundraisers are not eligible for Flash Ice pricing.

BOOKING DEADLINE: Friday, December 19, 2025, at 12 noon ⏳ First come, first served — no holds!

Important Information

• Discount applies only to ice within the two-week window (December 24 to January 6)
• Bookings must be made by the hour
• Insurance coverage is required before confirmation (available through the City’s provider at a nominal cost)
