Picnic Tables

The forecast Uptown is looking good for a picnic, and we've set the tables!

Ten picnic tables are back for you to enjoy your lunch, visit with friends, meet with a colleague or read a great book.

Local artists representing the City’s diverse and creative community contributed to the design of the tables through a 2020 art project, and they proved to be a popular addition to the Uptown area last year.

This year, the tables can be found placed throughout the Uptown area at Rainbow Park Splash Pad, Queen Square, Germain Street and City Hall Plaza.

Artists showcased include Clyde Wray, L’Arche Creative Connections, Nathasha Pilotte, Kevin Goggan, Cassandra IRE McLaughlin, Rolla Elmeligi, Sheila Howell, Hilary Ladd, Marianne Beckwith, and James Walsh. The tables were built by the Saint John Tool Library.

Tables are available to enjoy on a first come, first served basis.
