Lily Lake and Tucker Park temporarily closed for swimming

The City of Saint John wishes to notify the public that Lily Lake and Tucker Park have been temporarily closed for swimming due to a recent test conducted by Public Health, indicating a high sample of E. coli bacteria.   

Warning signs have been posted at both locations and lifeguard services will remain in place at Lily Lake to advise the public and ensure the safety of visitors. Both swimming areas will remain closed until deemed safe by health officials. 

Further testing will be conducted early next week, and the City will continue to provide updates to the public as they become available.
