No hunting is permitted in Rockwood Park

The City of Saint John is reminding the public that no hunting is permitted in Rockwood Park.

There are signs and discs warning hunters away from the boundaries of the no hunting zone, which includes the area near Ashburn Lake, bound by Sandy Point Road and Foster Thurston Drive.

The Nuisance Deer Management Program is only permitted on private landowner’s land that has been approved by the Department of Energy and Resource Development.
