Proposed Municipal Plan Amendment RE: 0 Rex Hurley Boulevard/0 Glen Road/ PID 55246706 and portion of PID 00302778

Public Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of The City of Saint John intends to consider an amendment to the Municipal Development Plan that would:

1. Redesignate on Schedule A of the Municipal Development Plan land having an approximate area of 5.5 hectares identified as portion of PID 55246706 and portion of PID 00302778, from Rural Resource Area and Park and Natural Area, to Stable Area, as illustrated below;
2. Redesignate on Schedule B of the Municipal Development Plan land having an approximate area of 5.5 hectares identified as PID 55246706 and portion of PID 00302778 from Rural Resource and Park and Natural Area to Stable Residential, and extend the boundary of the Primary Development Area (PDA) as illustrated below;

REASON FOR CHANGE:

To extend the existing Mini-Home Park.  

A public presentation of the proposed amendment will take place at a regular meeting of Common Council, to be held in the Council Chamber at City Hall on Monday, July 6, 2026. Written objections to the proposed amendment may be made to the Council, in care of the undersigned, by Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
