PROPOSED MUNICIPAL PLAN AMENDMENT RE: 901 FOSTER THURSTON DRIVE

Public Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of The City of Saint John intends to consider amending The City of Saint John Municipal Development Plan at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Chambers on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., by:

 

  1. Redesignate on Schedule A of the Municipal Development Plan, land having an approximate area of 7.93 hectares, located at 901 Foster Thurston Drive, also identified as PID 55242945, from Park and Natural Area (outside of the Primary Development Area) to Park and Natural Area (within the Primary Development Area), as illustrated below;

 

  1. Redesignate on Schedule B of the Municipal Development Plan, land having an approximate area of 7.93 hectares, located at 901 Foster Thurston Drive, also identified as PID 55242945, from Park and Natural Area (outside of the Primary Development Area) to Park and Natural Area (within the Primary Development Area), as illustrated below.

REASON FOR CHANGE:

To include the site within the Primary Development Area to allow for the site to be serviced with municipal services.

Written objections to the amendment may be provided in writing and/or verbally at the Public Hearing to be held by Common Council. To register for participation in the hearing, please contact the City Clerk’s Office in advance at commonclerk@saintjohn.ca

 

Written objections to the amendment may be sent to the undersigned at City Hall.
