Proposed Section 59 Amendment Re: 55 McDonald Street

Public Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of The City of Saint John intends to consider a proposal at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Chamber on Monday, May 1, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., by:

Amending the Section 59 conditions imposed on the April 14, 2008, rezoning of the property located at 55 McDonald Street, also identified as PIDs 55188825, 55189948, 55189955, and 00319939, as amended on November 23, 2015, to permit a revised proposal.

Reason for Change:

To allow for the facility to be used for the storage, repair, and maintenance of City vehicles in addition to maintenance of the City’s transit fleet.

Written objections to the amendment may be provided in writing and/or verbally at the Public Hearing to be held by Common Council. To register for participation in the hearing, please contact the City Clerk’s Office in advance at commonclerk@saintjohn.ca
