Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment and Section 59 Amendment Re: 1781-1875 Bayside Drive

Public Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of The City of Saint John intends to consider amending The City of Saint John Zoning By-law at its meeting to be held on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., by:

  1. Rezoning a parcel of land having an area of approximately 1.71 hectares, located at 1781-1875 Bayside Drive also identified as a portion of PID 55239131, from Pit and Quarry (PQ) to Rural (RU) as illustrated below.
  1. Amending the Section 59 conditions imposed on the August 13, 2007, rezoning of the property located at 1781 Bayside Drive, also identified as a portion of PID 55239131 to permit a revised proposal.
  1. Amending the Section 59 conditions imposed on the June 10, 2013, rezoning of the property located at 1875 Bayside Drive, also identified as a portion of PID 55239131 to permit a revised proposal.

Reason for Change:

To allow for the subdivision of a portion of the site and to permit a revised proposal on the remainder of the site.

The public hearing may be held virtually, or in the Council Chamber, or in the Council Chamber with remote participation for applicants and the public.
