Proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment RE: 2626 Loch Lomond Road

Public Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of The City of Saint John intends to consider amending The City of Saint John Zoning By-law at its regular meeting to be held through remote participation on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 6:30 p.m., by:

Rezoning a parcel of land having an area of approximately 8.12 hectares, located at 2626 Loch Lomond Road, also identified as a portion of PID Nos. 00331066 and 55217285, from Rural (RU) and Neighbourhood Community Facility (CFN) to Rural Residential (RR) as illustrated below.

REASON FOR CHANGE:

To permit residential redevelopment.

For details on how to inspect the amendment, or to register to participate, please contact the Office of the Common Clerk at CommonClerk@saintjohn.ca. Written objections to the amendment may be provided in writing and/or verbally at the Public Hearing to be held by Common Council. You can do so by submitting your comments on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. through remote participation.  To register for participation in the hearing, either by videoconferencing or by telephone, please contact the City Clerk’s Office in advance at commonclerk@saintjohn.ca

Signed letters should be addressed to the Mayor and Members of Common Council, City of Saint John, P.O. Box 1971, Saint John, NB, E2L 4L1, and should be received on or before Thursday, March 3, 2022.  Letters can also be sent by facsimile to the City Clerk’s Office at (506) 674-4214, or by e-mail at commonclerk@saintjohn.ca.  All submissions will be provided to Common Council for consideration as part of the public hearing process.
