Public invited to attend 21-gun salute to commemorate Saint John’s birthday

On Saturday, May 18, the City of Saint John will celebrate its 239th birthday. The 3rd Field Artillery Regiment (The Loyal Company) will commemorate the day with a customary 21-gun salute at Fort Howe, 16 Magazine Street, at 12:00 p.m.

The 21-gun salute is open to the public for those interested. There will be a limited supply of hearing protection available, however, it is recommended that attendees bring their own hearing protection.
