Rockwood Park Playground to close temporarily for warranty work

A portion of the playground at Rockwood Park will be temporarily closed from June 8 to June 12, 2026, to allow for scheduled warranty work on recently installed equipment.

During this time, an area of the playground area will be closed to the public to ensure the safety of visitors while crews complete the required repairs and adjustments. All playground equipment outside the fenced construction zone will remain open for use.

Parents and guardians are asked to respect all posted signage and barriers and to keep children away from the work zone throughout the closure period.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this important work to maintain the safety and quality of the playground.

The playground is expected to reopen on June 13, 2026.
