Saint John Night Market returns for the summer

The popular Saint John Night Market is back this summer with an exciting and diverse mix of food and craft vendors, weekly entertainment, and a new dedicated lounge area, giving visitors a unique way to enjoy the City Market.

The Night Market kicks off this Thursday, June 29, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will be open every Thursday evening throughout the summer until August 31.

Originally launched in 2019, the bustling open-air market offers people a chance to gather with family and friends while enjoying great food, local shopping and lots of entertainment.

“The Night Market presents a wonderful opportunity to showcase the many products and services available locally, while encouraging residents to truly explore and enjoy the uptown,” says Andrew MacDonald, City Market Manager. “Last year, the Night Market welcomed more than 6,000 people of all ages and from many different postal codes. With our improved seating area and new mix of vendors, we hope to double in size and fun.”

Vendors will be located on South Market Street and the stage and seating areas will be in the Market Plaza. Primary access to the Night Market is from Germain Street.
