Saint John Water – Update on water main break on Charlotte Street

Early this morning, Saint John Water crews responded to a water main break on Charlotte Street at the intersection of Queen Square South. Crews remain on site to repair the infrastructure.

Customers in the area may experience discolouration in their water. If this is the case, we recommend you flush your pipes by running cold water in the bathtub until it clears.

Thsection of Charlotte Street is currently included in the infrastructure renewal program for the South Central Peninsula and is scheduled to be replaced in 2026.

If you experience any further issues or have questions, please contact our Customer Service Centre at 658-4455.

Saint John Water thanks customers for their attention and patience while the emergency repairs are being made.
