Section of Harding Street West changing to two-way traffic to support new development

The west side will see some new retail locations soon, and the City of Saint John has made some traffic changes to support this development. Motorists are advised that on January 12, 2021, the lower east-west section of Harding Street West that intersects with Fairville Boulevard will become accessible to two-way traffic.

Motorists that enter Harding Street West from Fairville Boulevard would be entering for the purpose of accessing the new development retail locations.

Currently, the entire length of Harding Street West is one-way traffic from Main Street West to Fairville Boulevard. The upper north-south section of Harding Street West will remain a one-way street. The green highlighted section of Harding Street West will be changing to two-way traffic.

Traffic signs and signals will be in place to advise motorists of this change in permitted access.
