Section of Mercantile Centre pedway temporarily closed for lighting upgrade (Beginning Monday, April 26)

Lighting upgrades are coming to the Canada Games Aquatic Centre pedway. As part of a lighting upgrade project, the stairs leading to and from the Mercantile Centre (Union Street tunnel) will not be accessible on Monday, April 26 and Wednesday, April 28.

This is necessary for crews to assemble and dismantle staging.

The pedway will remain open and accessible on Tuesday, April 27.

Access to the Canada Games Aquatic Centre and the Aquatic Centre pedway will be via the front entrance of the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.

Access to the Mercantile Centre will be maintained through the Mercantile Centre main entrance or the Mercantile Centre parking garage.

The Aquatic Centre pedway and the Mercantile Centre pedway are also accessible via the Aquatic Centre pedway elevator.
