Temporary Dog Park at Tin Can Beach

Temporary dog park to be constructed at Tin Can Beach

The City of Saint John is pleased to announce the construction of a temporary dog park at Tin Can Beach. This initiative comes in response to the closure of the Rainbow Park Bark Park, which is currently undergoing redevelopment as part of a new school project.

The temporary Dog Park will help ensure that residents and their canine companions continue to have access to a safe and enjoyable off-leash space during the construction period.

Construction of the temporary facility will begin on Monday, July 28, and is expected to be completed within two weeks.

Once the school project is complete, the long-term plan is to re-establish the dog park near its original location in Rainbow Park.

The City thanks residents for their patience and support as we work to maintain and improve recreational spaces for all.
