Traffic Advisory: Catherwood Street

The City of Saint John would like to advise the public of the following traffic interruption that will occur overnight Tuesday, September 9 and Wednesday, September 10.  This closure is necessary to complete road repairs and reconstruction in the area.

Street: Catherwood Street

Specific area: Between Fairville Boulevard and Manawagonish Road

Date: September 9, 2025

Duration: Two (2) days

Time: 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Direction: In both directions

Action: Traffic reduced to one lane.

Description of work: Road repairs and reconstruction

Road signage and sidewalk directional signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of pedestrians and workers.
