Traffic Advisory: Charlotte Street

The City of Saint John would like to advise the public of the following traffic interruption beginning Tuesday, May 12 on Charlotte Street.

Street: Charlotte Street

Specific area: Between Queen Square North and Princess Street

Date: May 12, 2026

Duration: 2 days

Time: 7 a.m. May 12 to 6 p.m. May 13

Direction: In all directions.

Action: Closed to through traffic. 

Description of work: Infrastructure installation/upgrades.

All residences and businesses in the affected area will remain available while the work is being completed. 

Detours will be in place to direct traffic around construction.

Road signage and sidewalk directional signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of pedestrians and workers.
