The City of Saint John would like to advise the public of the following traffic interruption beginning Wednesday, May 13 on Ellerdale Street.

Specific area: Between St. Anne Street and Margaret Street

Date: May 13, 2026

Duration: One (1) day

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Direction: In both directions

Action: Closed to through traffic. 

Description of work: Watermain repairs.

All residences and businesses in the affected area will remain available while the work is being completed. 

Detours will be in place to direct traffic around construction.

Road signage and sidewalk directional signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of pedestrians and workers.
