The City of Saint John would like to advise the public of the following traffic interruption that will occur on Thursday, August 28 on Union Street.  This closure is necessary to complete road repairs and reconstruction in the area.

Specific area: Between Charlotte Street and Smythe Street

Date: August 28, 2025

Time: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Direction: In both directions

Action: Traffic reduced to one lane.

Description of work: Road repairs and reconstruction

Road signage and sidewalk directional signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of pedestrians and workers.
