UPDATED Traffic Advisory: Charlotte Street and King Street

The City of Saint John would like to advise the public of the following traffic interruption that will begin on Wednesday, March 12 on Charlotte Street and King Street. This closure is necessary for the development of 99 King Street.

Street: Charlotte Street and King Street

Specific area: Charlotte Street between Union Street and King Street. King Street between Germain Street and Charlotte Street.

Date: Wednesday, March 12 to Friday, March 14, 2025

Duration: Three (3) days

Time: 24 hours a day

Direction: In both directions

Action: Closed to through traffic.  Access to properties and businesses inside the closed section will be maintained.

Description of work: A large crane will be operating in the area to support new development at 99 King Street.

Road signage and sidewalk directional signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of pedestrians and workers.
