Temporary Parking bans help crews safely remove snow and keep streets clear during the winter months.
When are parking bans declared?
- Temporary Parking bans can happen any time during winter when snow or ice needs to be removed from city streets.
- Street Specific Bans: No Parking for snow clearing: Selected streets will have no on-street parking from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Temporary no parking signs will be posted at least 8 hours in advance of snow clearing efforts. Any vehicles remaining on the street will face enforcement in the form of fines and potentially towing before the snow clearing operation is completed.
If vehicles are left on the street during the parking bans:
Any vehicles remaining on-street after 7 a.m. and before 7 p.m. when a parking ban has been declared WILL BE TICKETED AND/OR TOWED at the owner's risk and expense. Parking ban tickets start at $60.00.
