P.R.O. Kids provides up to $500/child/year. This amount can be used toward the costs associated with a single activity or divided over less expensive options that happen in different seasons.
|Activity Season||Program Start Date||Application Deadline|
|Fall||After September 1||May 31|
|Winter||After December 1||October 31|
|Spring||After March 1||January 31|

- Your child must be between the ages of 4 - 18 and live in Saint John, Grand Bay-Westfield, Rothesay or Quispamsis.
- Each application requires at least 1 reference (preferably 2) who can verify that the applicant is in financial need. The reference(s) should be an adult who knows the parent or child, is not a friend or family member, and who is active in community activities.
- Know your activity of choice, the registration deadlines for that program, the costs associated with it, and any other details about equipment or transportation before applying. Contact the program provider for more information.
- Get your application in before the deadline for the season. Financial aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applicants who receive funding from P.R.O. Kids can only be in one paid recreation program at a time. Multiple applications for different seasons for a single child will not be accepted. Parents must re-apply for each activity season.
