Applications for Land for Public Purpose (LPP) Trust Fund being accepted for community recreation projects

The City of Saint John advises community groups that the City’s Land for Public Purpose (LPP) Trust Fund is available to help financially support community-led recreation projects on public lands.

Funding is available to community groups within the City of Saint John whose new project aims to develop a public space for recreational enjoyment and use.

The maximum eligible funding from the LPP Trust Fund will be based on the project/park classification, and will be limited to:

• local: up to $10,000;

• community: up to $20,000;

• City or regional: up to $50,000.

Applications are being accepted beginning Saturday, April 1, 2023, and must be submitted by April 30, 2023.
