City focuses on industrial park growth with launch of new website

An important component in supporting the City’s renewed commitment to investing in its industrial parks is officially up and running with the launch of the new Saint John Industrial website, www.saintjohnindustrial.ca.

The new site highlights the significant and unique industrial-based business and development opportunities that exist in Saint John with a focus on attracting local, national, and global businesses to start or grow their operations in the region.

“We are excited to be able to showcase the tremendous opportunities our industrial parks offer through the launch of our new website,” says Brian Irving, Manager responsible for Industrial Parks. “Saint John is situated in a logistically ideal location that, in addition to being an industrial centre of excellence, is integral to attracting business and expanding our industrial footprint. This website provides us with a tool to share the significant development possibilities and supports our city has to offer.” 

The website provides details on the variety of land and lots currently available for development in the Spruce Lake and McAllister Industrial Parks, both of which are perfectly positioned to reach international markets by road, rail, air, and sea.

Expanding lands and investment in the City’s Industrial Parks was identified by Saint John Common Council as one of four catalytic infrastructure projects for accelerating growth, by attracting new businesses and skilled workers in sectors that include green energy, advanced manufacturing and transportation and logistics.
