City of Saint John service update related to Rogers network outage

Rogers wireless customers are currently experiencing significant service interruptions due to a Canada-wide network outage.

City of Saint John municipal services including Saint John 911 operations (PSCC) services have not been impacted by the outage.

  •  The Saint John 911 operations centre (PSCC) continues to operate as normal.
  •  There is no impact to Saint John Fire Department or Saint John Police Force operations.
  •  The City's Customer Service Centre remains open and able to receive calls for services and inquiries although there may be some delay in response time. Bill payments are being accepted by credit card and cash; some issues are being experienced with debit transactions.
  •  Some direct calls to municipal employees may not go through at this time as many of the wireless phones are on the Rogers network.
