Intermittent closures to the Shoppes of City Hall pedway during construction

As the Fundy Harbour Group continues the extensive renovation work to the Shoppes of City Hall pedway, intermittent closures of some sections of the pedway will be required over the coming weeks and months to complete construction in the public areas.  

The section of the pedway between the Chipman Hill and St. Patrick Street entrances (directly around the City Hall elevators) will be closed during the following upcoming periods:

• Saturday, July 9: Closed from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., reopening in the evening until 1:00 a.m.
• Sunday, July 10: Closed from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., reopening in the evening until 1:00 a.m.

Signage will be posted whenever a closure is required.

Access to City Hall will remain open and accessible during regular hours, unless otherwise indicated.

Access to the Canada Games Aquatic Centre and all businesses in the pedway will remain open, however pedestrians may need to use external street-level entrances in some instances.
