By-Law Number LG-13 A By-Law respecting the Use of Sidewalks within The City of Saint John and amendments thereto

Public Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of The City of Saint John intends to consider giving third reading to the bylaw entitled, “By-Law Number L.G.-13, A By-Law respecting the Use of Sidewalks within The City of Saint John” at its meeting of April 4, 2022.

The amendment clarifies insurance requirements for Sidewalk Cafés, parking fees and submission requirements for Sidewalk Cafes, confirmation of liquor license extensions, permission requirements for Sidewalk Vendor sites and removes outdated and superseded sections of the Bylaw.

In accordance with the Local Governance Act, the bylaw will be read in summary only, if no member of Council objects.
