Rogers wireless customers are experiencing intermittent service interruptions due to a Canada-wide network outage

Impacts to municipal and PSCC services include the following:

The Saint John 911 operations centre (PSCC) continues to operate as normal. However, the public is advised that a call to 911 for emergency response may not work if the caller is on the Rogers network. It is best to call from a separate network, or landline.

The Saint John Customer Service Centre has initiated back-up lines and is able to receive calls for service, inquiries, and bill payments.

Direct calls to municipal employees may not go through at this time as many of the wireless phones are on the Rogers network.
