Saint John Water Update: Water levels at South Bay Wellfield have recovered

As of April 1, 2021 the average water elevation in all wells at the South Bay Wellfield was approximately 2.311 metres above sea level. The continuing increase in water level helps protect the sustainability and reliability of the aquifer and meets the requirement to operate at least one metre above sea level.

Saint John Water will continue to closely monitor the South Bay Wellfield water levels in conjunction with the Department of Environment and Local Government.

This report was provided by Saint John Water to Common Council at the May 3 meeting. For more information, visit www.saintjohn.ca
