Temporary evening closure to the Shoppes of City Hall pedway

Beginning Tuesday May 17, the Shoppes of City Hall pedway (between Chipman Hill and St. Patrick Street entrance) will close from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday until further notice. The Fundy Harbour Group has begun extensive renovations to the mall level of the Shoppes of City Hall pedway, and the evening closure will accommodate work that needs to be completed in public areas.

Access to City Hall and all businesses in the pedway will remain open and accessible during regular business hours during this temporary adjustment and the pedway will return to regular hours in time for the Memorial Cup. Signage will be in place and any necessary safety precautions in public areas will be taken as needed. The City of Saint John Customer Service Centre can be accessed using the exterior street level doors at the front of the building or the elevator located in the Shoppes of City Hall pedway from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
