Traffic Advisory: Kane’s Corner Intersection

The City of Saint John would like to advise the public of the following traffic interruption that will occur in the Kane’s Corner intersection. 

Street: Loch Lomond Road, Seely Street, Russell Street, and Thorne Avenue

Specific area: Loch Lomond Road from Westmorland Road to Seely Street, Thorne Avenue from Seely Street to Atlantic Superstore entrance; Seely Street from Loch Lomond Road to overpass; Russell Street from Seely Street to Rothesay Avenue.

Date: July 5, 2026

Duration: Three (3) weeks

Time: Milling and paving work will occur between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. All other work related to the project will occur during regular business hours.

Direction: In both directions.

Action: Traffic reduced to one lane. 

Description of work: Asphalt resurfacing.

Road signage and sidewalk directional signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of pedestrians and workers. 

Motorists and Saint John Transit riders are encouraged to plan ahead and expect traffic disruptions in the area.
