Bulky Item Registration

Residents who live in single family homes are eligible for a bulky item pickup—three items, twice per year, or one large six-item pickup. Residents who live in a multiunit (four units and under) building are eligible for six items twice per year. With a multiunit building, we must speak with the owner of the property or landlord—this ensures other tenants in the building are offered the opportunity to participate. Items must be placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. on the collection date. It is very important to call with any changes the Monday before the pickup.

The bulky item pickup program mainly takes furniture. A mattress with boxspring are considered one item; sectional couches are considered one item; a bed frame with headboard, footboard, and rails count as one item. We also take BBQs and lawnmowers, however all oil and gas must be drained. It is important to note this on the pickup report.

You must preregister each item for this service by calling 658-4455 between 8:30 a.m and 6:00 p.m. Customer Service Staff will call you back with an assigned pick up date. Be sure your items are curbside on that date by 7:00 a.m.
