Councillor Eric Savoie was elected in May 2026 to represent Ward 3, with a focus on advancing affordable housing, neighbourhood safety, and inclusive opportunities for residents.
He brings over 20 years of experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives across the public, private, and community sectors in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. His career has focused on systems change, innovation, and public-purpose leadership. Eric most recently served as a Director at EY, including as Canadian Leader for Human Services within the Government and Public Sector practice.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and an MBA from the University of New Brunswick and is a Certified Management Consultant. He is also the founder of Aurora Futures Inc. and an Associate with the Pond Deshpande Centre at UNB.
An active community volunteer, Eric serves as Co-Chair of the Saint John Fundy Pride Society, Co-Chair of the UNB Alumni Pride Network, and contributes to the Business Community Anti-Poverty Initiative. On Council, his work centres on housing affordability, safe and welcoming neighbourhoods, and long-term community wellbeing.
