Councillor Gina Hooley is a lifelong Saint John resident, REALTOR® with eXp Realty, and community volunteer. She was elected to Common Council in May 2026 with a strong commitment to community connection and service.
Known for her approachable, down-to-earth style and strong work ethic, Gina believes effective leadership begins with listening and treating people with respect. She has contributed extensively to local organizations and initiatives, including Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), the MS Society, neighbourhood associations, and community fundraising efforts. She has also served as Vice Chair of the Champlain Heights Community Association.
As a parent of three, Gina is passionate about giving back to the community that helped shape her. On Council, she is committed to being accessible and solutions-focused, working to ensure residents feel heard, respected, and represented while supporting Saint John’s continued growth.
